The Tucker

$175.00 +

The Tucker was the very first fountain pen design to be released from my shop. It is named after my grandfather, Neil Tucker, who taught me the art of turning pens over 20 years ago, and inspired me to further develop my skills to the point that I am at today. I have come a long way since turning my first pen on the tailgate of his Dodge truck, and he has been a great encouragement throughout the process. I’m grateful to be able to include him not just in the naming of my workshop, but as a part of the Jason Neil Penworks lineup as well. The profile of the Tucker is tapered across the pen, and features flat finials with beveled edges. The section is concave with a slight pinch closer to the nib.

Pens shown above are for reference only and are not available for sale.

The Fairview

$225.00 +

The Fairview is my own unique interpretation of the classic cigar-style pen, featuring a slightly convex profile with compound curves, and rounded finials. The section is concave with a slight pinch closer to the nib.

The Tucker 48

$475.00 +

My preferred filling method for fountain pens is the eyedropper, and it was a dream of mine to be able to design something that was technically unique from the pens in my personal collection, as well as anything currently on the market that's made by hand. Enter the Tucker 48. Named after my Grandfather's favorite classic car, I like to think of it as being as groundbreaking for the artisan fountain pen world, as the Tucker 48 was for the automotive world back in 1948.

The design showcases a suspended ink reservoir within the body that is connected directly to the section by a separate coupler. The entire system is sealed using neoprene o-rings (one in the section and one in the coupler) which eliminates the need for any silicone grease. The reservoir can be refilled either by removing the section and accessing it from the top of the pen, or by removing the body and removing the ink reservoir. All of this is achieved while still maintaining the comfortable writing experience the Tucker has come to be known for.

Pens shown above are for reference only and are not available for sale.

The Fairview 22

$525.00 +

The Fairview 22 is the cousin of the Tucker 48, being an eyedropper version of the standard Fairview model. It also maintains the same size as the standard model, with only a slight increase in the overall weight of the pen. The number "22" signifies the year it was designed, 2022.
