About
Founded in 2016, Jason Neil Penworks is a small workshop located in Texas dedicated to the art of handcrafting custom fountain pens and unique pen materials. Each pen is meticulously crafted in my shop using only hand tools and a lathe, ensuring that no two pens are ever identical. This handcrafted process results in distinctive variations within each piece, transforming them into functional works of art.
In a world dominated by digital communication, the art of crafting analog writing instruments holds a unique charm and significance. At Jason Neil Penworks, the timeless beauty and functionality of writing by hand is celebrated through each writing instrument I create. My work is a tribute to the artistry of traditional craftsmanship and a testament to the joy of putting pen to paper.

My primary focus is a single pen design called the Tucker, which allows me to refine my technique and enhance my craft with every pen I create.
I attribute my success in this art to my grandfather, Neil Tucker, who patiently taught me the intricacies of turning handmade pens on a lathe almost 25 years ago. I am deeply grateful for his wisdom and experience, which have been instrumental in my journey to develop and elevate this unique craft.
